San Marco
The San Marco model is a coloured glass suspension lamp, versatile in its application, which brings a refined chromatic touch to any lighting project.
The oval lampshades float with delicate grace, illuminating the environment with two light sources: one directed downwards and another from within the sphere, emanating a coloured aura through the glass.
This chandelier is composed by pairing various lampshades, distinguished by their size, colour, and glasswork. One version features a sophisticated gradient that dissolves from an opaque hue into tinted transparency, while another reinterprets the classic Rigadin chandelier, with the traditional pattern of fine ribbing typical of Murano glassmaking.
The modularity of San Marco opens up infinite design possibilities: linear suspension lamp compositions find their ideal placement illuminating rectangular dining tables; pairing two or three elements instead allows for more contained light points, suitable for reading or relaxation areas. When many chandeliers are lowered in artistic configurations, such as spirals or waves, they elegantly decorate grand entrances and contract environments. Finally, a single coloured oval chandelier is conceived to float over a round table, a living room coffee table, or a bedside cabinet, diffusing a delicate and point-like light.
Function and decoration merge in a single, surprising lampshade, whose lower edge is enveloped by a rounded metal ring that seems to tightly hold a balloon ready to take flight. Such is the evocative allure that arises from the union of avant-garde production techniques and the heritage of Venetian glass art.
