Wall Street
Mauro Lipparini
Wall Street stimulates us with a series of suggestions: New York City, the world of finance, the bulls against the bears. For Arketipo, it's all about opportunity—the opportunity to do something that's never been done before. For Mauro Lipparini, it is to seize this opportunity and create a design never seen before . This is furniture that goes beyond the furnishings of a simple office. They help create a real "think tank", where transformative ideas can be compared, with all the seriousness they deserve. This is an executive desk for surfacing ideas and analyzing them thoroughly, the centerpiece of a space where the smallest details are taken into consideration, in the same way that the most important decisions are made. Lipparini started by measuring himself with the structures more conventionally present in an office, but opted for essential and distinctive shapes , such as the trapezoid-rectangles of the tops. The resulting system is an aggregate of asymmetrical planes, staggered from each other, overlapping and geometrically articulated, in order to obtain extraordinary dimensional adaptability, both in the orthogonal and longitudinal directions. To complete this captivating system there is a chest of drawers-console which can be placed under the desk for a more classic function, but which has such a personality that it can also be used autonomously and independently. Wall Street offers the opportunity to do something totally different.
